In which sizes are matteco rubber mats available?
Max. width 1250mm, max. length 10m, max. thickness 30mm. As boards from a thickness of 10mm. Cuts-to-size of any kind can be provided in thicknesses of 1-30mm.
Can simpler rubber mats with coarse granulate also be supplied?
As a general principle, matteco endeavours to supply "high-performance" rubber mats. However, our own production facility also enables us to offer special solutions.
What are "high-performance” rubber mats?
These are rubber mats which are only available from matteco. A special manufacturing process and a hot-melt adhesive developed for this enable matteco rubber mats to exceed all expectations in this segment, especially with respect to quality and service life.
Which materials can a matteco rubber mat replace?
Elastomers, neoprenes, natural rubber, EPDM and many others.

Why are the technical properties so outstanding?

The specially developed hot-melt adhesive links the rubber granulate over the whole surface. The elasticity of this special hot-melt adhesive means that no hard predetermined breaking points arise as in the case of a rubber granulate mat with PU as a binder.
What happens to the used matteco rubber mats?
They can be returned to matteco. After an inspection, they are cleaned and shredded and are resupplied to the production process without the addition of more binding agent. matteco has therefore created a 100% material cycle, in which no waste or production remnants have to be disposed of in landfill sites.
Why are there multi-layer matteco rubber mats?
A multi-layer structure enables technical properties to be customized to the application. In particular, products for vibration insulation and structure-borne noise insulation can thereby be perfectly tailored to the application case.
